Secret Santa draw online
One link for everyone, no sign-up. People add themselves, and who's buying for whom is seen only by the person it concerns.
Free, no account needed. The link is ready to drop into the group chat.
How it works
- Create the draw. A name, optionally an amount and an exchange date. You get the link straight away.
- Send the link to the group chat. Everyone opens it, adds their name and, if they like, attaches their wishlist.
- Press “Run the draw”. Each person sees only who they're buying for. Nobody sees the whole chain — you included.
What's different
- No sign-up for anyone — not the organiser, not the participants.
- No emails: the result lives at the same link, nobody needs a message.
- Wishlists right there: your person attaches theirs, so you don't have to guess.
- The organiser can't peek: the chain isn't shown to anyone.
Common questions
- How many participants do we need?
- Three or more. With two the result is obvious without any draw.
- What if someone wants to join after the draw?
- They can't: joining closes with the draw, otherwise the chain would break and someone would end up without a present. The organiser can remove a participant only before the draw.
- What does the organiser see?
- The same as everyone — only their own person. The whole chain is shown to nobody.
- How does a participant learn the result if there are no emails?
- At the same link: it remembers the participant in their browser. Clearing the browser makes the link forget them — for signed-in users the participation is kept in the account too.
- Is it free?
- Yes, entirely.
